OccWatch objective

The OccWatch platform (https://occwatch.anses.fr/) is a digital platform that enables occupational health experts (doctors, hygienists, toxicologists, occupational exposure specialists, etc.) to exchange information on unfamiliar and emerging occupational diseases encountered in the course of their clinical practice.

ANSES cannot be held responsible for any direct or indirect prejudice of any nature whatsoever resulting from the use, even partial, of the information on this platform.

The OccWatch platform does not accept any form of advertising or receive any advertising funds.

Data protection policy

ANSES is committed to ensuring that the processing of personal data carried out on the OccWatch platform complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Within the scope of the OccWatch platform, ANSES limits the collection of personal data to what is strictly necessary (data minimization) and provides information notably on:

  • the person in charge of the processing and the objectives of the collection of these data (purposes)
  • the legal basis of the data processing;
  • the compulsory or optional nature of the collection of data for the management of your request and a reminder of the types of data processed;
  • the categories of persons concerned;
  • the recipients of the data;
  • the duration of the data storage;
  • your rights with regard to information technology and civil liberties and how to exercise them with the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) .

The recipients of the data

The transmitted data are processed by ANSES staff authorized to manage the OccWatch platform. The technical service provider may also obtain access to the data within a strictly limited framework (corrective maintenance and updates).

Your data will never be disclosed to any third party.

Exercising your rights

In accordance with the provisions of Article 56 of Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 (“Data Protection Act”) relating to data, files and freedoms, you may refuse the processing of all personal data concerning you by contacting: occwatch@anses.fr

You may also exercise your right to access, rectify, delete or limit the processing of personal data concerning you.

To exercise these rights, you may be asked to prove your identity.

Use of data

The information and data available on the OccWatch platform are exclusively available to the members of the platform. The technical service provider may obtain access to data in a strictly limited framework (corrective maintenance and updates). Thus, any reproduction, translation or reuse of the information contained on the OccWatch platform is subject to authorization.

Consequently, the scientific exploitation of any data or information obtained from the OccWatch platform must respect the OccWatch User Charter and be approved by the scientific committee.

The logos appearing on the OccWatch platform are registered and protected and their use is authorized in restricted cases only. Any use must be requested from the relevant body in order to obtain a formal written authorization from it. The OccWatch platform is not responsible for the use of the logos appearing on the platform.

Establishment of links

Any public or private website, except for sites diffusing information of a polemic, pornographic, sectarian or xenophobic nature, may establish, without preliminary authorization, a link to the home page of the OccWatch platform. However, in no case may the pages of the OccWatch platform be nested within the pages of another website. Everything must be done to clearly indicate to the user that they are on the OccWatch platform.

The OccWatch platform reserves the right to ask for the deletion of a link that it considers not in conformity with its editorial policy or that could harm its image, without prejudice of possible later actions before the competent jurisdictions.
